What is the GM Foundational Literacy Assessement (also known as the FLA)?

The new Foundational Literacy Assessment (also known as FLA) is one of two HMH Growth Measure Reading assessments. It is a fixed-form assessment that focuses on foundational literacy skills and provides screening and benchmarking support for younger students (Grades K–2) as well as non-readers.

The standard GM Reading 2–12 assessment is an adaptive reading comprehension and language arts test intended for Grade 2–12 students.
