The Read 180 reading intervention program uses adaptive technology to create an individualized student learning experience.
Read 180 is an intervention program that supports students reading two or more grades below level. After taking the Reading Growth Measure, students enrolled in a Read 180 class are placed within the Student App. Teachers can also manually place students in the program.
Students will be placed within the Code segments or Comprehension segments. Segments contain lessons and activities, and each segment of the student app is designed to build students’ fluency and mastery of reading.
Teachers enroll students in Read 180 using HMH Ed™. For information on enrolling students in programs on HMH Ed, see the Ed Help topic Manage Programs for Classes.
