Read 180 Teacher Display Tools

Read 180 Teacher Display Tools create interactive ReaL Book Teaching Guides and thus enhance Whole Group and Small Group teaching and learning.

The Teacher Display Tools allow Read 180 teachers to display only Student Edition instruction on their interactive whiteboards. They may control instruction by revealing recommended responses at their own pace. These responses may also be customized. The tools also provide educator access to the Teaching Guide lesson, guidance, and additional displayable content not found in print materials.

Teachers can access the Teacher Display Tools by clicking the Teacher Display Tool-labeled resource after opening the lesson.

To access the Read 180 Teacher Display Tools in Ed:

 

1.    After opening the lesson, click the Teacher Display Tool-labeled resource.

If necessary, filter the resource list to view only Teacher Display Tools by clicking the Component list, selecting Teacher Display Tools, and then clicking Apply.

2.    Note the following tools available on the Display Tools page:

Click the arrows to move between lessons.

Filters

Use the filter lists to select a different stage, workshop, or lesson.

Click Update to move to the new selection.

Display Tool

Click Display to show the corresponding Student Edition pages and display the pages to students on an interactive whiteboard.

Answers

Click Answers to hide or reveal answers to questions.

Click to toggle the display from single-page to double-page.

Click the Zoom icons to zoom in and out of pages.

 

      Use the left-hand menu to access Teaching Guide content.

      Blue sentence frames from the Teaching Guide content may be added to the student view.

Click the arrow icon to view the question in the student view.

      Use the See More toggle to turn on and off additional scripting and support in the lesson plan.
