What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm is a hyaluronic-acid filler suspended in a gel. Restylane is also known as Restylane. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox, Dysport and Dysport temporarily relax these muscle contractions. The skin will appear smoother.
Common treatment areas are the forehead, frown lines and Crows feet. The results can be seen in a few days, but they will improve over the next two weeks. When dosed appropriately results may last up to four months.
What is Sculptra, exactly?
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that contains poly-L-lactic Acid. It helps to gradually restore facial volume. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. These results can last longer than two years.
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. Depending on the amount and type of fat, one to five Kybella vials might be necessary. Multiple treatment sessions may also be required. The submental fat, otherwise known as a double chin, is the most common area that requires treatment. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin, hair, and debris using a medical-grade surgical knife. A single session of dermaplaning is capable of removing approximately 2-3 weeks' worth of skin cells and debris. Dermplane is completely pain-free and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. This treatment does not require downtime.
