What are HA fillers?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
