What are HA Fillers and how do they work?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. Your results may last for more than two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount and type of fat, one to five Kybella vials might be necessary. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. It does not appear thicker due to the way that the blade is used. This treatment does not require downtime.
