What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. While results may be visible within a few days of treatment, the process will take two weeks to complete. The effects of the treatment can last for up to four months if administered correctly.
What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra, a biostimulatory injectable made of poly-L–lactic acid, helps gradually restore facial volume. It stimulates the natural production of collagen in your skin by slowly injecting it. The poly-L–lactic acid is biodegraded gradually and replaced by a matrix of new collagen over several months. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. Most people will need three treatments within a few months. After that, they only need one treatment each year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella, exactly?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.

While the technique looks like shaving, it's much more effective than that because the blade used is able reach right up against the skin's top layer. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This treatment does not require downtime.
