What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many HA Fillers available. Here we use both Restylane and Juvederm HA Fillers to deliver subtle to dramatic enhancements. You can have customized results.
What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. The results can be seen in a few days, but they will improve over the next two weeks. When dosed appropriately results may last up to four months.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra uses poly-L lactic acids to slowly restore facial volume. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. The poly-L–lactic acid is biodegraded gradually and replaced by a matrix of new collagen over several months. The treatment areas include the jawline, cheeks and nasolabial folds. Most initially will require three treatments over a couple of months and then just one treatment annually. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella?
Kybella can be used to permanently remove fat cells. A single session may require up to five Kybella vials depending on how much fat is present. Additional sessions may be necessary depending on the extent of the treatment. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Treatments can stop once a desired aesthetic goal has been reached.
What is a Vitamin B-12 Supplement?
Vitamin B-12 is an essential vitamin that our body requires in order to function properly. This injection may improve energy levels, fatigue reduction, speed up metabolism and improve sleep patterns. It can also increase concentration, mood improvement, immune system boosting, and other benefits.
What is HydraFacial, exactly?
HydraFacial is a revolutionary treatment that addresses all your skincare needs.
HydraFacial Super Serums are made with nourishing substances that provide instant glow.
First, clean and peel the skin to reveal a new layer. This is done by gentle exfoliation. Then a light chemical peel is applied to help resurface the skin and prepare it for painless extractions. The skin is then cleaned using painless suction. The skin is then infused with antioxidants and peptides to enhance its glow. It is quick and easy!
What is Dermaplane exactly?
Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade blade that is medical-grade to remove the skin's surface layer of dead cells, debris, and hair. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane does not require any pain and is non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. It does not appear thicker due to the way that the blade is used. This treatment does not require downtime.
What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a procedure that involves applying a chemical solution on the skin to remove the outer layers of the dermis. Chemical peels can help improve the skin's texture as well as radiance. Chemical peels come with a variety of strengths, including deep, medium, and superficial. The results of a chemical peel will vary depending on the concerns you have and what type of treatment you choose. For most, multiple treatments are recommended to achieve the best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser uses advanced technology. However, Clear + Brilliant treatments are easy to obtain. All treatments begin with a consultation with your skincare practitioner to see if Clear + Brilliant is right for you - and to pinpoint some of the key trouble spots it can help address. The practitioner will recommend a Clear + brilliant Laser treatment program. There are two handpieces available to treat skin texture issues such as fine lines/wrinkles, poor size spots or brown spots.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial and how do you use it?

These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
