What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.
