What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is a great option for wrinkles, deep folds and other areas that need more volume such as cheeks and lips. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are various HA Fillers on the market. For subtle to dramatic enhancements, we've used both Restylane HA Fillers and Juvederm. More options, customized results.
What are Neurotoxins, exactly?
Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox and Dysport temporarily reduce muscle contractions. This will make the skin look smoother.
Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. If the dose is correct, results can last up to four weeks.
What is Sculptra exactly?

Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. In the beginning, most people will need three treatments spread over several months. Then they may only require one treatment every year. Results can last more than two years!

What is HydraFacial, exactly?
The HydraFacial treatment addresses all skincare needs using patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate the skin.
HydraFacial super serums are made with nourishing ingredients that create an instant glow in just a few steps.
The first step involves gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal new layers. Next, a light chemical peel will be applied to smoothen the skin and prepare it in order for painless extractions. Next, debris is removed from the pores using painless suction while nourishing the skin. The skin is then infused with antioxidants and peptides to enhance its glow. The best thing is that there is no downtime.
What is Dermaplane exactly?
Dermaplaning is a surgical procedure that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin and other debris. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane is completely painless and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. There is no need to worry about the hair growing back darker- dermaplaning targets the vellus hair (peach fuzz) that grows back the same size and color. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.
What is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels are treatments that use a chemical solution to treat the skin's top layers. Chemical peels can help improve the skin's texture as well as radiance. Chemical peels are available with different strengths. Your concerns and the type of peel you select will determine how much improvement your skin receives. Multiple treatments are recommended for best results.

These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
