Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.

What are Neurotoxins?
Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. The effects of the treatment can last for up to four months if administered correctly.
What is sculpture?
Sculptra is a bio stimulatory injectable comprised of poly-L-lactic acid that helps to restore facial volume gradually. It stimulates your skin's natural ability over time to produce collagen. Over several months, the poly-L-lactic acid is biodegraded and replaced with a meshwork of new collagen. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. Most initially will require three treatments over a couple of months and then just one treatment annually. Your results may last for more than two years.

What is HydraFacial and how does it work?
HydraFacial treats all skin needs. It uses patented technology to clean, extract and hydrate the skin.
HydraFacial Super Serums are made with nourishing substances that provide instant glow.
To reveal a new layer of skin, the first step is to cleanse and peel the skin. Next, a light chemical peel will be applied to smoothen the skin and prepare it in order for painless extractions. Next, debris is removed from the pores using painless suction while nourishing the skin. Last, antioxidants and peptides are infused into the skin to maximize the skin's glow. It is quick and easy!
What is Dermaplane exactly?
Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade blade that is medical-grade to remove the skin's surface layer of dead cells, debris, and hair. One session of dermaplaning can remove approximately 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin cells and other debris. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. The way the surgeon cuts hair doesn't create thicker hair. There is no downtime with this treatment.
What is a Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel is a treatment where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers of the dermis. Chemical peels are a great way to improve the skin's texture, radiance, reduce wrinkles, decongest pores, treat acne-prone skin and help with fine lines. Chemical peels come in superficial, medium, and deep strengths. You can see a difference in your skin depending on your concerns, and which peel you choose to address them. Multiple treatments are recommended for best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser's advanced technology is used to provide Clear + Brilliant treatments. Clear + Brilliant starts with a consultation. This allows you to discuss your concerns and determine whether Clear + Brilliant is right to treat them. Your practitioner can then recommend a Clear+Bright Laser treatment program. These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
