What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm and Restylane are hyaluronic acid fillers suspended in a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
