What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is great for deep wrinkles and folds on the face, as well as areas that require more volume like the cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve easily and last for up to a year.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are various HA Fillers on the market. To deliver dramatic enhancements, we use Restylane as well as Juvederm. More options, customized results.
What are Neurotoxins?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox and Dysport temporarily reduce muscle contractions. This will make the skin look smoother.
Common areas of treatment include forehead, frown lines, crows' feet, and the chin. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. If the dose is correct, results can last up to four weeks.
What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that contains poly-L-lactic Acid. It helps to gradually restore facial volume. It stimulates the natural production of collagen in your skin by slowly injecting it. The polylactic acid will be biodegraded, and replaced with a network of new collagen after several months. Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. The results can last up to two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella is an approved injectable treatment that permanently eliminates fat cells. Depending upon the amount of fat present, up to five vials (or more) of Kybella might be required during one treatment session. Sometimes multiple sessions are necessary. Submental fat, also known as the 'double chin', is the most common area for treatment. Once a desired aesthetic goal is achieved, treatments can be stopped.
What is a Vitamin B-12 Shot and how do you use it?
Vitamin B-12 can be considered an essential vitamin. This injection may improve energy levels, fatigue reduction, speed up metabolism and improve sleep patterns. It can also increase concentration, mood improvement, immune system boosting, and other benefits.
What is a HydraFacial?
HydraFacial is a revolutionary treatment that addresses all your skincare needs.
HydraFacial Super Serums are made with nourishing substances that provide instant glow.
The first step cleanses and peels the skin to uncover a new layer of skin using gentle exfoliation. Then a light chemical peel is applied to help resurface the skin and prepare it for painless extractions. Next, debris from the pores is removed using painless suction. The skin is then nourished. To enhance the skin's glow, antioxidants as well as peptides are instilled. It is quick and easy!
What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses an operating-grade surgical blade to remove the dead skin, debris, or hair layer. A single session of Dermaplaning can remove 2-3 weeks of buildup from the skin's dead skin cells. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. The technique may look similar to shaving, but it is much more effective because the blade being used is able to get right against the top layer of skin. There's no reason to be concerned about your hair becoming darker. Dermaplaning works on the vellus (peach fuzz), and the hair grows back exactly the same size. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. There is no downtime.
What is Chemical Peel?
A chemical peel involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin to remove the upper layers of the dermis. Chemical peels are a great way to improve the skin's texture, radiance, reduce wrinkles, decongest pores, treat acne-prone skin and help with fine lines. Chemical peels can be performed in three strengths: deep, medium, or superficial. Improvement in the skin varies depending on your concerns and which peel is selected to address your needs. To achieve the best results, it is advisable to use multiple treatments.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser exactly?
Clear + Brilliant Laser is based in advanced technology. Clear + Brilliant is simple to use. Clear + Brilliant begins with a consultation. This will allow you to find out if Clear + Brilliant suits your needs and pinpoint the areas that it can help. Your practitioner will then recommend a Clear+ Brilliant Laser treatment plan. There are two handpieces available to treat skin texture issues such as fine lines/wrinkles, poor size spots or brown spots.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial?
Insta-Glo Facials leave you radiant for days! This facial combines a HydroJelly masque along with a customized ampoule that is tailored to your skin.
First, clean and exfoliate your skin. The ampoule then gets applied to the skin. The HydroJelly mask is then applied. Finally, the appropriate products are applied then applied to your skin and you are ready to own the day! The downtime is minimal.

Let's take a look at the Top 5 Most Popular Medical Spa Treatments:
This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
