What are HA Fillers and how do they work?

Juvederm is a hyaluronic-acid filler suspended in a gel. Restylane is also known as Restylane. This gel keeps the hyaluronic ag in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.

About Kansas City

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the KansasMissouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.

Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.

The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.

What are Neurotoxins?

Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.

Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.

What is Dermaplane, exactly?

Dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin, hair, and debris using a medical-grade surgical knife. One session of dermaplaning can remove approximately 2-3 weeks worth of dead skin cells and other debris. Dermplane is completely pain-free and non-invasive. The procedure may seem similar to shaving but is much more efficient as the blade used can get right to the top layer. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This treatment is quick and painless.

What is Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a treatment where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers of the dermis. Chemical peels will help to improve the skin's texture and radiance, even out the skin tone, diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, help acne-prone skin, and decongest pores. Chemical peels come in superficial, medium, and deep strengths. You can see a difference in your skin depending on your concerns, and which peel you choose to address them. Multiple treatments are recommended for most people to get the best results.
