Historic mansion, the Wyeth-Tootle Manor is located at 11th & Charles sts. William M. Wyeth built the mansion in 1879. Mann Architects designed it in Gothic style. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived here until 1887, when the property was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. Beautiful woodwork, imported stained glass, and hand-painted ceilings are just a few of the features found in the interior. Visitors can also experience life in the late nineteenth century.
