The Wyeth - Tootle Manor at 11th & Charles sts is a historic home. William M. Wyeth built the mansion in 1879. Mann Architects designed it in Gothic style. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles owned the house from 1887 until it was sold.
The mansion includes three floors and one tower. The house boasts more than 40 bedrooms. Beautiful woodwork and imported stained glasses are some of the interior's highlights. It is possible to see what it was like living in the 19th century. The Wyeths-Tootle Mansion, located in downtown St. Joseph is a great place to visit.
