The Wyeth - Tootle Manor, at 11th and Charles sts., is a historical mansion. William M. Wyeth constructed it in 1879. The Gothic design was created by Eckel and Mann Architects. They had travelled extensively throughout Europe to gather ideas and build the mansion which was completed in 1883. The Tootles lived there until 1887 when it was sold.
The mansion is three stories high and has a tower. There are more than 40 rooms inside the house. Beautiful woodwork, hand-painted ceilings and imported stained windows are all part of the interior.
