Compatible with the Surfox 304 GMA and GTA weld cleaning system, the wand allows for a greater range of motion and features a quick-change system, allowing the user to quickly change accessories and clean larger and hard-to-reach areas at an optimal rate. The wand is also compatible with the company’s carbon fiber brushes with segmented sleeves, used for cleaning GMA welds. The segmented sleeves can be trimmed away with a pair of long-nose pliers, up to three times, to get the most life out of each brush. The triangular brush is used for cleaning larger surface areas, whereas the cylindrical sleeve brush is used for tight corners and spot welds. The wand also remains compatible with the tungsten inserts and high-conductivity cleaning pads. It can be interfaced with automated welding systems via bidirectional RS232 interface. The command structure allows the user to remotely manage the sampling pump and measuring range. The unit continuously transmits oxygen levels and alarm conditions in ASCI format. The analyzer features a large, graphical user interface that continuously displays the level of oxygen from atmosphere down to ppm levels and permits the user to set alarms and recalibrate the instrument. It can also be used in a stand-alone mode and is supplied ready to use complete with a CERTIFICATION AWS CERT TIFICATION PROG ORK.
