Wiring power connections

  1. Select the appropriate cable from the table above and connect the cable to one of the ground terminals of the Clean Power VFD.

  2. Connect the other end of the ground cables to the supply earth ground terminal.

    Use a dedicated ground wire for input power, motor power, and control wiring.

    Each Clean Power VFD must have its own low impedance ground connection, ensuring that ground wires are as short as possible.

    Do not daisy-chain ground connections between multiple Clean Power VFDs as shown in the diagram.

  3. Locate the Clean Power VFD input and output terminals on the power terminal block. Refer to the detailed descriptions to understand the function and location of each terminal before making wiring connections.

  4. Connect the motor to the U/T1, V/T2, W/T3 terminals. Run motor cable separately from other signals. Follow the wiring requirements specified by the motor manufacturer.

  5. Connect the AC input power cables to R/L1, S/L2, T/L3 terminals.
