2 levels of protection are integrated in the Clean Power VFD.

In case of short-circuit on the outputs, the Clean Power VFD will immediately shut-down its output an generate an alarm.

This protection is not configurable by the user.

No additional short-circuit protection devices are required.

The Clean Power VFD provides overload protection for the motor and its cable.

If the current drawn by the motor exceeds a threshold for a defined time, the Clean Power VFD will shut down its outputs and generate an alarm..

If the Clean Power VFD is controlling more than one motor, it is recommended that each motor be connected to the Clean Power VFD through a protection relay since the Clean Power VFD cannot protect each motor individually.
