5-Axis Renishaw Calibration – The calibration unit is a Renishaw model APCA45 with a modified spherical stylus. The device has a retractable cover and air purge to clear debris & dust during the activation process. It mounts to a swing arm controlled by a pneumatic rotary, so it is out of the way during regular operation and swings into the calibration position for calibration only.

Auto Standoff - This is a surface standoff, and should not be confused in any way with vector standoff using 5-axis mode. Auto stand-off will adjust vertically according to the angle of "A" Axis. There are five (5) axis that are considered during calculations. The machine can be controlled manually using buttons on its screen to make the vector standoff change.

AC Unit Mounted on Electrical Cabinet. The unit is located on the cabinet's High-Power (480v) side. It is located close to where the drives are installed. C or Channel Beams. Channel beams are typically used to support lighter loads. They are a popular choice for residential construction and not for heavy construction.
For small buildings, the distance between two reinforced columns is between 3-4m and 6-9m. Larger facilities that require large columns and lots of free space will have to be at least 6-9m. A distance of 5m is acceptable for ordinary structures. The maximum span is 7.5, while the minimum is 2.5m.
Channels, or C-beams, are used when the flat back side of the web is mounted to another flat surface. This allows for maximum contact. Sometimes they are welded back-to-back to create a non-standard I beam.
Wood Products Historically we have restricted hole sizes in Microllam (r) LVL and Parallam (r) PSL. Members 7.25'' or deeper can use a round hole of 2'' diameter for TimberStrand(r).
IS-456 (2000) Clause 29 states that a supported beam can be classified as deep if the ratio of its effective span to its overall depth D is less then 2. Continuous beams are classified as deep if the ratio L/D falls below 2.5. The centre-t is the measure of effective span.
