Cnc Beam Drill Line Road

In medium- to large-sized structural fabrication shops, beam drill lines are an important tool. Beam drills can drill holes in many steel profiles and at different lengths using CNC-controlled programming. These machines can be used to cut holes in a variety of steel profiles without the need for manual layout or chalking. This tedious process can take several weeks and require multiple workers to complete. The beam drill line eliminates the need for manual layout and all associated errors.

".. This machine is designed for Structural fabricators. But I knew it would work well for drilling trucks frames. The assembly was flawless due to the machine's repeatability and accuracy. Avenger drills one channel for a truck in just two hours. We would have taken 16 hours if it was done manually. The machine has increased our productivity AND profitability !.."

Each of our beam drill line machines have linear guides, central lubrication, and a tool cooling system to ensure smooth operation and lower maintenance. Within each coordinate system there is a 4 station tool changer, allowing it to drill, mill, scribe, counter sink, or tap as needed; tools can even be swapped out mid-operation easily and without disruption. Positive beam positioning consists of an arm attached to a rack and pinion system on the feed conveyor to more accurately position the beam as it goes through the drill line, maintaining .004”, making our steel beam drill lines much more accurate than friction roller machines.

Voortman designs machines to meet the strict requirements of GSS Machinery. GSS Machinery is designed for small to medium fabricators. Voortman is more for larger fabricators. Voortman has been constructing machines for GSS Machinery more than ten years. GSS Machinery ranks as Voortman's biggest customer in the world.

CNC Drill Line can import DXF file and can use them for processing 3-D shapes provided the steel is detailed according specific rules. You might need to adjust some of these rules to match the details you are currently using. This process may not be as seamless as 3-D modeling software.

GSS Machinery will provide you with as many options as you need when drilling with your CNC Drill Line.

Voortman is the man behind today's CNC beam drilling line standard. He has used time-tested technology. Advantage-2 processes 150 tonnes of steel per week on average. It is the most efficient way to drill, mill, tap, and countersink.

Renishaw Calibration 5 Axis - The calibrator is a Renishaw model APCA45 equipped with a modified spherical stilus. The device includes a retractable lid and an air purge to remove debris and dust during activation. It mounts to the swing arm, which is controlled by the pneumatic rotary.

Continuous production? Check. Check. A triple axis drill and milling allows for the processing of a complete profile in record-breaking time. This strength is powered by 25 horsepower Siemens spindlemotors. Each drilling axis uses ball screw feed positioning. This drill line is equipped with an advanced clamping system that reduces vibrations by utilizing all the power. Extreme accuracy? Check.

The ability to mill quickly speeds up project completion. With the Advantage-2 user-friendly Raptor 3DCAD/CAM program, it is possible to quickly program parts. Directly access the 3D platform to view, modify and export information. Advantage-2 drills are known for their scribing capabilities, the ability of milling slots and large lifting holes, and they also have the ability to trace. This is what really sets this machine apart. You can create layout lines, piece marks, and central points with the scribing. This flexibility has allowed us to use the scribing when we need it and make our own decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

T Beam's disadvantages: Because the beam slab is monolithic (rigid), its resistance to lateral shear forces becomes very weak. (cracks develops quickly). This is why T beams are used for high-rise buildings in earthquake-prone areas.

H-Beams H-Beams. H-beams are one of the strongest steel beams. It is composed of horizontal elements and the vertical beams act like the web. Popular in civil engineering and construction, the web and flanges create a cross section that is similar to the shape of the letter H.

Divide the beam's span in inches by 20 to calculate its required depth. A 25' span would equal 25x12 / 20, which is 15 inches. This beam's width would vary between 1/3 to 1/2 its depth.

The STANDARD SIZE OF BEAMS A residential building has a minimum of 9 x 12 x 300 mm or 225mm x 300mm. This is according to (IS codes). Minimum RCC beam size should not exceed 9 x 9 or 225 x 225mm, with an additional 125mm slab thickness.

The beam drill line is important in large-sized structural fabrication shops. These machines are used to drill precise holes in beams, angles, or sections of bar stock. They can be quick and efficient at laying large structural members.
