Z-Reader Probe-- The Z-Reader Probe can be used to locate the surface. It can be used to programmatically or manually. This option is not activated while cutting and is easily retracted. It can be used to verify the surface of each pierce, or to map the entire surface before cutting begins. It starts by initializing or zeroing the device to a surface at the start of a program. After that, it accumulates or tracks any difference.

Beam drills are essential tools for medium-sized to large-sized structural fabricators. Beam drill lines can accurately drill holes in various steel profiles of different lengths and with CNC controlled programming. These machines remove the need to manually draw or lay out the positions. Instead, the machine produces the hole using a mag drill punch, plasma, or punch. Over the last ten years, the UNIST MQL cooling system has emerged as the dominant system for coolant in the USA. It is standard equipment on the Aveger FORTY/Avenger PLUS and Clipper. This minimal quantity coolant is made from oil and promotes longer tools life. It is non-toxic.

AC Unit Mounted to Electrical Cabinet - This unit is mounted on the cabinet’s High Power (480v side). It is near the location where drives are mounted. This option allows for quicker heat dissipation, while keeping the cabinet temperature steady. The most significant heat contributors inside an electrical cabinet are all the servo motors for all axes.

Remote assistance may not be able to diagnose all issues. There are still many mechanical issues that need to be addressed by a human. Voortman machines can be shipped with high resolution web cameras and software. Voortman staff can see what is happening at the site without needing to leave their offices. The webcam is extremely useful for communicating issues in foreign countries and situations where it might be difficult to speak the right language.
