We are pleased to report that the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, was financially successful for the ninth consecutive year. Not only did ASCP exceed our budget goals, but our breadth and depth of educational programs at home and abroad, as well as our advocacy and certification activities, were highly productive.

Fiscal year 2012 is notable for several reasons. First, we have achieved an all-time high revenue total of nearly $31 million, with almost $30 million in reserve. As a result, ASCP is solid financially and, even more important, boosting the sources of our revenue. Our ability to generate increased revenues allows us to increase services to our members while maintaining member dues at reasonable rates.

Second, ASCP has greatly expanded services to our members with a wide array of services available through our member dues. These include unlimited continuing education packages to support Maintenance of Certification and an improved ASCP website, which debuted in October 2011, and has processed more than 100,000 transactions. Additionally, more than 45 percent of our members paid their dues online during the past year.

Third, the scope of our educational offerings has been enhanced. From the extremely successful 2011 ASCP Annual Meeting to the ever-expanding online education to collaborations with other partners to develop education, ASCP is committed to bringing the best and brightest experts to create educational opportunities for you.

Please take a moment to review our Statement of Financial Position, as well as our Statement of Activities for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012. Much of the groundwork has been completed in fiscal year 2012 in support of several new initiatives that will roll out as new member benefits and services in fiscal year 2013.

We are very proud to be able to present these significant accomplishments to you. ASCP values your tremendous contributions to your Society and your dedication to quality patient care. Please accept our heartfelt thanks.
