Enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled cruise from St. Andrews Bay, which is home to one the largest living populations of bottlenose dolphins in the world, to Shell Island. This 7-mile barrier island is a popular local attraction and is considered one of Florida's best beaches. Shell Island offers beautiful beaches and opportunities to see dolphins, collect shells and enjoy a walk.
St. Andrews State Park Campground Camp Store provides beach bike rentals. Ride the 2 mile paved bike trail through the park, and loop around the campground roads. It is a wonderful way to spot deer or other park wildlife. The Park has two easy and short hiking trails that offer a close-up view of coastal scrub habitats, and native pine forest.
It takes about 3 hours to sail your Panama City Beach adventure catamaran. The trip will begin with a sail across St. Andrews Bay. You'll then head to Shell Island where you can view dolphins and other marine life. The "Island Time" a stable and wide sailing cruise catamaran. We'll anchor in about 5ft of water so you can snorkel around Shell Island, look for seashells, or just relax in the cool water. Make a splash with our popular water slide or stand-up paddleboards.
These wild animals do what they love in their natural habitat. We observe these animals on their terms, and are sensitive to their moods and activities. It is possible to have encounters quite often, but it is impossible to guarantee that they will happen. The laws of The Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1973 and its subsequent amendments as well as the laws of Florida are ours. We are forbidden from harassing or feeding dolphins. Snorkeling is great around the St. Andrews State Park beach, and also on Shell Island. Habitats can range from sandy bottom to shallow grassy flats to the rock faces of the jetties. See tropical fishes, crabs, and rays. You might also see a turtle or some bottle nose dolphins if you are fortunate. Snorkel equipment can be rented from the Jetty Store. As if you were heading to Captain Anderson's, turn onto North Lagoon. Continue on North Lagoon past their parking lot and past the Lighthouse Marina. You will find us on your right side, underneath the trees/down the gravel road. Our company name will be displayed on signs.
