Dolphins live in the wild in their natural environment. They are not kept in tanks and they do not have to be kept in a cage. You should wear polarized sunglasses in order to avoid the harsh glare of the water and better appreciate the beauty of wild dolphins. It is extremely rare for us not to see the dolphins.
The St. Andrews State Park Campground Camp Store offers beach bike rentals. You can ride around the park loops and along the park roads, as well as the 2-mile paved bike path that runs through the park. This is a great place to spot deer and other wildlife in the park. Two short, easy trails allow for close inspection of the coastal scrub habitats and native pine forest.

After spending approximately an hour at Shell Island's Marina, we'll embark on a leisurely sailboat cruise to the Gulf of Mexico to search for wild dolphins. These are wild animals in their natural habitat doing what they want to do. Our encounters observe them on their terms and depend on what they are doing and their mood. Encounters happen pretty often; however, there is no way that we can guarantee it. We are bound by the laws of The Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 and subsequent amendments, in addition to the laws of the State of Florida. We are not allowed to feed or harass dolphins, so we don’t and are very strict about that. Thank you for understanding.
