At ByteLight we had been working hard to get the technology into the hands of developers all over the world. In order to do this we chose a Kickstarter-esque platform called Self-Starter. In 30 days the campaign raised over $35,000 in pre-order sales for ByteLight - But it's reach did not end there. The ByteLight Self-starter campaign brought in not only developers, but new business prospects. Some of this new business ended up doing pilots with the ByteLight tech and others would go on to be paying customers. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome.
