A Short Film About A Long Drive

On a 10,000 mile journey across the United States, I wanted to give anyone a taste of what it's like to drive cross-country... But without all the money for gas, McDondald's cheeseburgers, and burnt out clutch in a national forest 100 miles from the nearest town.

Using a very high shutter speed and shallow depth of field, I created a point of view impossible for the human eye to see on its own. A view that focuses on the road itself - the textures, the character, and the imperfections.
