All this in a very cost-effective package.

These work support arms are heavy-duty and quick-releasing. They have smooth transition rollers, precision machined ways and are very durable. Multiple horizontal and vertical adjustments allow for precise control. This system allows the operator to move the arms quickly left/right/up/down, allowing for quick set-up. You can choose between a 24-inch and 36-inch length for the quick-change linear support system arms.

A press brake is a machine tool used for bending metal parts and sheets up to 20 mm thick. It is composed of a V-shaped or U-shaped die (depending on the desired bending shape) and a punch. The material to be bent is placed on the die and pressed by the punch which then bends the sheet to the selected degree.

We also offer a variety of Press Brakes that are hydraulically controlled. The bending power of the brake is strong enough to handle large work-pieces. Because of its large tonnage, it can handle any thick metal material. This range is available in Single Cylinder and Dual Cylinder Y1+Y2 formats. It requires minimal operation. You can use our Press Brakes to process metals such as steel, brass, metal sheets and aluminum alloys.

In Line Brake Pressure Switch

What's the secret to a Piranha Press Brake? Our current models are new, but we've been making press brakes since 1998. We've designed and built some amazing machines, including the single-cylinder or dual-cylinder press brakes, that our customers still love today. However, the cost of steel fabrication in the U. S. was prohibitive. After the end of production, customers and dealers asked us to build another press brake. They were happy with our machine and the way we treated them. They appreciated having one place to purchase or get service on any of the equipment they used in their shop.

Finally, a heavy-duty press brake solution that is both easy to use and easy to love, it is now easier than ever to find.

This dual drive hybrid makes it easy to do any project. It has long-term, high speeds, and is energy-efficient.

Standard Industrial Press Brakes can be used by any facility. Standard Industrial press brakes can be used by smaller facilities with less expensive work hours that are able to perform up to three shifts per day. Standard Press brakes are also suitable for product manufacturers who need reliable machines that can be easily repaired with minimal downtime.

Standard has all types of tooling available, including American, European and Four-way American precision dies. Standard can also provide custom-made tooling for press brakes or press applications. The press brake does not come standard with any tooling. For all your tooling needs, contact us today. Made in the U.S.A.

Currently, Standard produces the widest variety of hydraulic press brakes available today. From our ADR 5 axis cnc hydraulic press brake series we offer 20 models and ranges from a small press brake that start at 4 foot in length to large press brakes up to 20 foot in bending length and 7 different tonnages ranging from 66 to 440 tons. Our premium more advanced ADS series is available with up to 14 CNC axis, comes in 32 different models with metal bending lengths of 6 foot 8 inches up to 26 foot 5 inches. Our ADS series machines are top end precision and powerful metal benders offered in 13 different tonnages with capacities of up to 3,300 tons! In addition to these two popular press brake series, we also offer the PBF series for the customer that needs a no frill press brake. On the other side of the coin is the sophisticated AD Servo brakes that have a hybrid hydraulic configuration and ball screws for energy efficiency and quiet operation. Lastly, Standard brings to market the FBS series which equates to the “flexible bending solutions” press brakes. Our FBS series brakes are typically high tonnage press brakes made to order to customer exact specifications with the option of running tandem or even trio press brakes, and material automation and handling options of every description.

Before you choose your press brake, it is important to know what type of metal you are going to be bending (stainless steel or 16 gauge mild steel).

This hybrid-drive hybrid is quick to complete any project that requires long-term, high speed, and energy-efficient operation.

Single Cylinder Press Brake Training

Hydraulic presses brakes exert pressure through hydraulics to lower the ram, and not rely on mechanics. They may be equipped with more than one piston, which allows for more precise control of the bend. This allows for a very precise and custom-made bend. There are some drawbacks to hydraulic press brakes. Hydraulic press brakes can only be used within the limits of their rated weight. For projects that require flexibility, mechanical presses brakes might be preferable.

According to the metal springback, you must adjust the angle of the bend and calculate the margin. So, for example, a 90deg bend must be bent, the punch must be reduced to 85deg.

Frequently Asked Questions

According to the 15th-century definition of brake, it was an instrument for crushing or pounding. The term brake became synonymous with machine, a term that was derived from machines that crushed grain and plant fibers. In its simplest form, a press brake and a pressing machine are the same thing.

When you travel at a decent speed, the first brake is used. If you need to stop your car or your car's speed reaches the lowest gear, you will need to use your brakes to prevent it from stalling.

Diamonds don't last forever. They can become lost, can be fried in an oven, or can be crushed to smithereens by a hydraulic press.

The press brake can do tasks that would normally fall to special machines. For example, press brakes can form rods or tubes from raw materials not usually associated with sheet metal benders. You can also use press brakes to attach various types of press-fit hardware to sheet metal parts.

The panel bender is more efficient than a traditional press brake due to its tooling advantages. It also has a faster, more consistent, and repeatable process. Both can benefit from CNC (computer numerical control), but a press brake needs manual manipulation of the sheet metal, bend to bend.
