Even for those with little or no computer or CNC experience, programming the CNC Drill Line is easy and intuitive.

The CNC Drill Line is easy to use and Avenger workers were the ones who laid the floors. There is no need to know anything about computers, and all training is given during the installation.

CNC Drill Lines are 100% hydraulic machines that make maintenance and parts very affordable. CNC Drilling Line was made to be used worldwide and only uses parts from major manufacturers. The majority of components can be found locally. Voortman maintains all parts in stock so that they can be delivered next day to the USA. In most countries that we serve, we offer local assistance and support.

Voortman will install and calibrate your machine once he is done. Then, he will meet with your operators and take them through the simple but comprehensive training program. They will be trained in:

An attachment with 4-axis layout marking reduces human error when manual layout is used. You can still retain part information even after blasting, painting and galvanizing.

We have used more than 1,000 CNC Drill Line and Angle Lines in the world. We have found that even an experienced operator who has never programmed before can use the machine efficiently in less than half an day.

The CNC Drill Line operates very easily, and the majority of Avenger operator were the ones doing floor layouts. The installation requires no prior computer knowledge. All training is provided during the process.

The Franklin HD145 (3) drill spindle CNC spindle, 44-inch wide. The HD-145 can support beams upto 775 lbs per ft. The hi-performance spindle design offers drilling speeds up to 2,200 RPM. This rigid design can deliver extremely high feed rates upto 300 feet per second. The Franklin HD145 is available with many material handling packages ranging in weight from 300 lbs/foot to 750.

Technology

GSS Machinery wants to give you as many options possible when drilling with your CNC Drill Line and any other CNC Beam Drill Line.

CNC Drill Lines are space-efficient beam processing solutions. They require a minimum of 70ft by 9ft floor space. This makes it perfect for smaller fabricators and fabricators who have limited space. Many CNC Drill Line installations are located outside, which allows for more fabricator space.

Voortman machine are the leaders in structural steel fabricating technology. Voortman machines ensure steel fabricators have an advantage in the steel industry. They also optimize tonnage. Advantage-2 CNC beam drilling line is the backbone for any structural steel fabrication shop. This machine is built on a multi-spindle, high-speed, relentless carbide drilling. Advantage-2 is one the most profitable drill lines available in the steel business. This drill line has a heavy steel frame that will provide support for shops for the long-term. The Advantage-2 can run profiles without stopping production because of its roller feed design. An estimated Hundreds of global fabricators run hundreds to thousands of tons of steel through the Advantage-2s each year.

MultMaster functions as an extension to the Roller Feed measurement method. This allows for cuts that might otherwise require manual positioning. This accessory makes it easy to process material on a Voortman saw and drill tandem system.

"..We have drilled about 25,000 holes since we bought our CNC Drill Line around four months back. We used to need to drill every hole in 5 minutes. It takes us about. 30 seconds per hole = a savings totaling 1875 manhours in just 4 months. This saves us $84,375. This machine will pay for its cost in less that one year. It speeds up our production and frees up floor space to allow for additional jobs.

"..We have installed a new beam-drill line in an effort to satisfy customer needs and increase production. The result has been a reduction in labor costs and faster turnaround times which have consistently helped us land quality job opportunities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Fixed connections, pinned and roller connections are the most popular types of support in beams and structures that connect to their foundation. You can see any of these supports at any point along the length of a structural component.

C-Channel. . . . This beam profile is very popular for auxiliary beams. Although it is also used for main beams it is more popular for cross members. C-Channel is usually stronger than tube in the vertical direction (as shown in the beam profile chart image).

The Flange of the L-beam, or the T-beam's slab that acts in unison with the beam to resist loads, is also known as the Flange of the Slab. The beam below the flange can be called Web or Rib. The T-beams support the slab, while the L-beams are the end beams.

It is possible to drill into metal screws without causing damage. In many cases, drilling into metal screws will be necessary. If you're using the stud for weight bearing, drill pilot holes first.

Section modulus (Z) is another property that can be used in beam design. Designing beams is crucially important because it determines the section modulus of the crosssectional shape. It is an indicator of the strength of the beam.
