                                                        Opportunities:
             Traditional Farm Related Tourism: Consider amending CDC to -
             •  Clarify potential EFU/AF-20 “farm use” exemptions by reflecting specific activities listed in ORS 215.203 (e.g. use of land
              to raise and/or sell: crops or livestock; poultry; dairy animals; cultured Christmas trees; orchards; aquatic, bird, and
              animal species under the jurisdiction of the State Fish and Wildlife Commission to the extent that commission allows;
              aspects of marketing products raised on the land or their byproducts; stabling or training equines for profit and related
              shows and lessons; on-site construction/maintenance of equipment/facilities used for the above; land lying fallow for
              one year as a normal and regular requirement of good agricultural husbandry; and more (see ORS for full text).
             •  Give examples of what constitutes exempt “direct sales of farm crops,” such as u-pick/u-cut operations, pumpkin
              patches, and farm direct marketing activities that are not in a building.

             Culinary: Consider allowing small farm-to-table dinners as exempt uses subject to certain limitations (e.g. those for 10
             or fewer attendees with no amplified sound).  Note: The County may need to consult with the state before adding new
             exemptions within the CDC.
