Routine inspections
Regular checks of the following should be carried out to ensure the Clean Power VFD and installation reliability is maximized.
Item | Inspection | Methods and tools | Expected results |
|---|---|---|---|
Environment | Is the ambient temperature and humidity within the specifications range, and is there any dust, dirt, corrosive gas, oil mist or foreign objects present? | Visual, Thermometer, Hygrometer, Recorder | There must be no danger of freezing with ambient temperature of -10 to 55˚C and must be no condensation with ambient humidity of less than 95%. |
Enclosure door filters and fans | Check the air flow in the enclosure. | Visual Replace or clean the filters if needed. Replace the fans if needed. | Air flow from the enclosure door (in and out) is not obstructed. |
Clean Power VFD overview | Is there any abnormal vibration or noise? | Visual and acoustic | No abnormality. |
Power voltage | Are the input voltages within the specifications range? | Measure voltages between R/ S/ T (phase to phase) | Values are within the specifications range. |
Cooling fan | Is there any abnormal vibration or noise? | Manual validation Turn off the system and check operation by rotating the fan manually. | Fan rotates smoothly. |
HMI | Is the display value normal? | Visual Check the displayed values and compare with readings from external meters (voltmeter, ampmeter, etc) | If there's variations, it should not be more than xx% |
Motor mechanical health | Is there any abnormal vibration or noise? | Visual and acoustic | No abnormality. |
