The Clean Power VFD includes a supercapacitor to keep the time of the real time clock (RTC) for 24h.

If the 24h is enough for the application, then there's no need to add a CR2032 battery.

Otherwise, please check the following instructions

Clean Power VFD's have a real time clock (RTC) feature.

A battery type CR2032 ensures the clock works when the drive is powered down.

The battery is not sold with the Clean Power VFD.

The battery has a long life time but if the battery needs to be replaced or removed, follow the instructions below.

Battery type is CR2032

To remove the battery push smoothly on it until the spring pushes it slightly outside its slot

Replace the battery by inserting a new one in its slot and push smoothly until the spring locks it inside it slot.
