Repair or maintain the AC drive only 5 minutes after the AC drive is powered off.

This allows for the residual voltage in the capacitors to discharge to a safe value.

If you replace the Clean Power VFD by a new one, set and check the parameters again after the AC drive is replaced.

The VFD becomes hot during operation.

Avoid touching the VFD until it has cooled to avoid burns.

Lock out and tag out all potential energy sources before working on the Clean Power VFD.

Before you inspect the product, read all safety instructions contained in this manual.

Before you clean the product, ensure that the power is off.

Clean the Clean Power VFD with a dry cloth.

Cleaning with wet cloths, water, solvents, or detergents may result in electric shock or damage to the product.

When a motor is used for the first time or when a motor is reused after being kept unused for a long time, or when a periodical inspection is performed, insulation inspection shall be conducted, so as to avoid damaging the Clean Power VFD because of the insulation failure of the motor windings.

The motor wires must be disconnected from the Clean Power VFD during the insulation inspection.

It is recommended to use a 500V mega meter, and the insulating resistance measured shall be 5MΩ at least.
