You may “UNSHARE” objects that you have shared with specific other Polar Cloud members, or with groups.
In the case of an object that has been shared with specific other Polar Cloud members, clicking the “SHARE” button on the object detail screen will bring up a menu that includes the option “Unshare with Members”; see Figure 5.47. Select “Unshare with Members” to bring up an “UNSHARE WITH MEMBERS” screen at which you may select the member(s) with whom you no longer with to share this object, and then click the “UNSHARE” button.
A group manager may “UNSHARE” from a group any object that any group member has shared with the group; however, to reduce the chance that a group member inadvertently “UNSHARE”s an object intended to be shared as part of a class assignment, ordinary group members cannot “UNSHARE” any group objects, even ones they themselves shared with the group. (However, if a group member shared one of their own objects with a group, that member may “DELETE” the object, thereby effectively removing it from the group.)
To “UNSHARE” an object from a group (of which you are the manager), navigate to the group’s “OBJECTS” screen and click the “UNSHARE” button (towards the upper right of the “OBJECTS” screen). That will bring up an “UNSHARE OBJECTS” screen at which you may the object(s) to unshare; then click the “UNSHARE” button (at the lower right of the “UNSHARE OBJECTS” screen). See Section 7.4.1 for an example.
You can neither “UNSHARE” nor “DELETE” any public object.
