While typically a group’s “Name”, “Description”, “Location”, “Website”, and “Tags” fields are all set when a group is initially created, via the “SETTINGS” screen the group owner may update these fields’ values; see Figure 7.15.
Note that “SEARCH”ing for a group in the Polar Cloud matches on the group’s “Name”, “Description”, and “Tags”. So especially if you set your group to be “PUBLIC” or “MODERATED” (meaning that even non-group-members might see that your group exists and possibly wish to join it), consider setting informative text in these fields. (Indeed, you will get an error if you attempt to mark a group lacking a “Description” as “MODERATED” or “PUBLIC”.)
Click the “SAVE” button (towards the upper right of the “SETTINGS” screen) after making any desired changes to group settings.
