As Steve Carell prepares to make his final appearances on The Office, Michael Scott's exit seems to be growing bigger than the royal wedding.
In addition to the plethora of guest stars making appearances to fill the void, from Will Ferrell to Will Arnett, Ricky Gervais and Ray Romano, NBC has seen fit to expand the spotlight by adding a full twenty minutes to Steve Carell's last episode!
But that's not all! While the April 28th Office episode will run from 9-9:50, so too will Parks and Recreation run a 50-minute episode immediately after to return the schedule to proper timeslots in time for 30 Rock.
The only show negatively affected by the change is Outsourced, which will not run that night and already faces a dubious future given NBC hasn't renewed it along wtih its flagship Office, Parks, 30 Rock and Community.
Written by the American version's executive producer and showrunner Greg Daniels, "Goodbye, Michael" will begin Thursay April 21st, and continue with the fifty minute conclusion on the 28th.
What say you? The more Michael Scott the better, or would you rather rip off the loveable buffoon's departure like a band-aid? Fax us your thoughts below!
