Raylan Givens lives in a world surrounded by men and woman who want nothing more than to put him six feet under. Givens is a U.S. Marshal with a dangerously fast quick draw and no hesitation putting his target down, but quite a few of these individuals have proven to be troublesome. In some cases, too difficult to solve with a mere bullet. Almost every new episode of Justified introduces a new fugitive, so, needless to say, we've seen a huge cast of crazy criminals. Some have stuck around for the long haul and others made a powerful impact in just one episode.

Dewey Crowe

Despite being a disgusting racist, it's tough to not fall in love with the despicable Dewey Crowe. The fugitive is so stupid and helpless that most of the time we just laugh at his misfortune or feel sorry for him. Then we get a glimpse of that swastika tattoo on his chest and we quickly remember he's a terrible, terrible person. Although he's an alligator poacher, this man poses no threat to Raylan's life. Dewey proved, however, that he can be somewhat dangerous, as he went on a robbing spree in the excellent episode "Thick As Mud" in Season Three. Crowe is one of Justified's best fugitives.

Glen Fogel

Glen Fogel thought he was the man, but, in the end, he was just a pawn and he showed his pathetic true colors when face-to-face with Raylan Givens. Glen was feared among his Oxycontin-addict employees, stringing them along with the promise of more drugs. He could make the addicts piss themselves with his authority and lack of remorse, but the tables were turned when Glen became stuck in stand-off with Raylan. Glen quickly offered to snitch on his employers, including Wynn Duffy and others in the Dixie Mafia, but his thug, Becket, tried to prove he had more valuable information to give Raylan. The two fools end up making Raylan's job easier for him and fatally shoot each other. Justified's smartest fugitives? Maybe not. Justified's best fugitives? Hell yes.

Fletcher Nix

Raylan Givens is a man who can outdraw anyone in a shootout, but what happens when he faces a man who loves to rig quickdraws? Fletcher Nix is a federal fugitive and has no gripe with putting a bullet in anyone the Dixie Mafia wants dead. Fletcher loves nothing more than to give his target a sense of false hope. He places a gun on the table and after a countdown, the two will reach for the firearm. What the poor guy doesn't know is that Fletcher is clenching onto an ice pick and will stab their hand when they reach for the gun. No one likes a cheater, Fletcher, and thankfully, Raylan beats you at your own game.

Douglas Cooper

The times... they are a changin', and Douglas Cooper found that out first hand. Cooper was once a talented bank robber, but a car crash killed his driver and, because of the death, Cooper was sentenced to 15 years behind bars. After an elaborate escape, Cooper seeks out his ex-wife to help him find a substantial amount of cash he previously hid. Much to his surprise, his ex-wife is sleeping with her cousin and the cash wasn't where he thought he left it. Poor Douglas used a school as a waypoint back in the day, but little did he know a new one was built and he was following the wrong one. The cousin shoots the old man and the duo leaves him for dead. Douglas survives the wound and is sent back to jail yet again.

Cal Wallace

Cal Wallace is a man that refuses to take it anymore. He deserves every second of incarceration, but he's sick of being abused and mistreated by authorities while he's in custody. So Cal does the seemingly impossible by hiding a weapon in his ass. He requests to go to the bathroom, one thing leads to another and he has the stinky weapon against an officer's throat. What happens next is one of the most intense and engaging episodes of Justified I have ever seen. Cal is a smart man, but at the end of the day it's a bucket of chicken and a promise for more that peacefully ends the situation.
