Let's get this out of the way: yes, I'm sure we missed [insert geeky thing you liked about LOST that we forgot here]. So feel free to pipe in the comments below about what you're going to miss most about Jack's Island. But in the meantime, here's one hundred things we'll never forget about the show that, for six seasons, never stopped confounding our expectations, and occasionally, breaking our hearts
The one eyed Russian was more nutbags than the rest of the Others, even - and that's saying something. Also? Possibly immortal, up until he killed himself, and Charlie with a well placed grenade. We kind of wish he wasn't dead.
Evangeline Lilly may have a tough time with all that scifi nonsense, but she has no problem making us completely crazy trying to decide whether we're Skaters or Jates.
The enigmatic figure behind the orientation videos, we nearly spit our DHARMA Beer across the room when he showed up in real time. And even though he was Miles father, it turns out he was a bit of a jerk. But a good one.
There were a lot of love triangles on LOST, but none matched the complexity of the love rhombus between Kate, Jack, Juliet, and Sawyer. For our money? Suliet all the way, the couple we didn't know we wanted until they were already together.
Will the duo of Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse ever do anything as good as LOST again? How about together? I mean, maybe, but as it stands, we'll miss the producers with not only the skills to pay the bills, but enough cognizance to know what their audience wants, and enough smarts to have a sense of humor about it. Fingers crossed they'll give us something as good as LOST again, but we're not holding our breath.
We won't necessarily miss the explanation of "The Whispers," but the frequent dead people showing up weren't just the Man in Black, and they weren't just the dead - they were a unique take on ghosts, more memories than spirits.
The sarcastic, ghost-seeing son of Pierre Chang was a lat, but great addition to the show. We'd pay good money to watch the adventures of alt-universe Miles and Sawyer, P.I.s
Oh, Lawnmower Man. You didn't have much to do this last season other than get hit by flying doors and say, "Aw hell," a lot, but the crusty captain is one of our favorite late additions to the series.
Every time the cast would break apart, they would - briefly - get back together again, and we'd get a teary, slo-mo reunion. It never failed to choke us up. Uh, I mean, punch some nerds. Yeah.
