Charles Bishop Weyland is the billionaire CEO of Weyland Industries. Terminally ill, he sees his discovery of a pyramid located beneath the ice of the island Bouvetoya as his last chance to make his mark in the world and organizes a team of archeologists, scientists and adventurers to investigate. What he and his team discover is an ages-old feud between two extraterrestrial races - and, unfortunately, Mr. Weyland is caught in the crossfire. However, his memory will live on in the centuries to come - a series of androids known as "Bishop" will eventually be made in his image.
