You're probably familiar with AVP. That's the cool way of referring to Alien vs. Predator, the pop sci-fi phenomenon spawned by the art directors of Predator 2 when they decided to put an Alien skull in a Predator trophy case. Soon after, there were AVP comics, video games, T-shirts, toilet seat covers, you name it. And there were a couple of AVP movies, too.
But why has the Predator seemingly been the only worthy foe for the Alien? We think there are plenty more battles in store for the nasty beast, whether Hollywood is ready for it or not. Here you'll find some cinematic smackdowns that probably won't be coming to a theater near you - like, ever. But dream with us, why don't you?

AVA: Alien Versus Avatar. "I See You." Yeah? The facehugger sees you, too. The resulting Alien-Na'vi hybrid isn't a pretty sight. And we just gave away the third act twist.

AVAN: Alien Versus Alien Nation. There's all sorts of confusing political and racial tension when humans, Newcomers and the Alien do battle over who gets to be on top of the food chain and exploit everyone else.

AVB: Alien Versus Borat. The culture clash hits galactic proportions when Borat visits the Alien's home planet. Sacha Baron Cohen made the Aliens take a long, hard look at their violent, intolerant culture with this brilliant satire.

AVBCSD: Alien Versus Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It's a rootin', tootin' space western, featuring the hit single, "Acid Blood Drops Keep Falling on My Head."
