As part of our look into Neutron’s General Functions, here are a few humble words of advice to consider as you mix:

To avoid over-processing, use the module Mix sliders in the module chain to blend in some dry, unprocessed signal.
Remember that Track Assistant results are not final settings, treat them as a starting point for your mix.
When using the Compressor modules, try starting with one band and add more bands as needed.
Use two EQ nodes in Dynamic Mode to control the sibilant areas of your track.
Analysis can be great — but it has to sound good too, so don’t forget to A/B.
Try blending the Exciter modes, such as: Tube/Tape on vocals or Tape/Retro on electric guitars.
Unmask a mix by comparing all other tracks against the lead vocal.
Compression Ratios are important. High ratios may suck the life out of a mix.
Well defined kick drum and bass relationships are the bedrock of any groove.
Use the EQ’s Learn function to help identify problem areas in your track.
