Cnc Beam Drill Line Design

All of our beam drill lines machines are equipped with central lubrication, linear guides, and a tool cooling to ensure smooth operation. There is a four-station tool changer within each coordinate system. This allows the machine to drill and mill, scribe, countersink, or tap as required. Tools can be easily swapped mid-operation. A positive beam positioning arm is attached to the feed conveyor. It allows for more precise positioning of the beam as it moves through the drillline. The rack and pinion system maintains.004" making our steel beam drilllines more accurate than friction roll machines.

FlexBeam, a machine tool that produces steel profiles quickly and accurately, has just been launched. This machine can be used to process large jobs in small and medium-sized fab shops.

To service our global clientele, Voortman proudly provides our partners with 24 hour technical support. Voortman’ inside service staff have years of experience in the field, assembly, or factory checkout which provides them with hands-on experience with most machines. At Voortman their service staff is not only available when you need them, but they maintain superior knowledge to solve questions as they arise.

The programming of the CNC Beam Drill Line can be done even manually. Peddimat is the machine programming software and most operators can program most parts within less than an hour. Of course practice makes perfect. The best way to program the machine, however, is to import parts from a CAD drawing, preferably created in 3-D modeling software like ProSteel 3D or StruMis. These files can be imported directly into the machine. The operator simply selects the part and presses the Cycle Start button.

Voortman has designed the CNC Beam Drill Line exclusively for GSS Machinery. Voortman is responsible for the installation, warranty, and service of the CNC Beam Drill Line. Voortman handles the installation, warranty and service work on the CNC Beam Drill Line. However, GSS Machinery is always available to assist if necessary.

MultMaster functions as an extension to the Roller Feed measurement method. This allows for cuts that might otherwise require manual positioning. This accessory makes it easy to process material on a Voortman saw and drill tandem system.

Voortman offers regularly scheduled training courses for all Voortman Ocean equipment in their Bradley Illinois facility. These courses are available for both new operators and retraining existing operators. Over the last ten years, the UNIST MQL cooling system has emerged as the dominant system for coolant in the USA. It is standard equipment on the Aveger FORTY/Avenger PLUS and Clipper. This minimal quantity coolant is made from oil and promotes longer tools life. It is non-toxic.
