If you’re looking to take your business to new heights and get ahead of your competitors, contact us today to learn more about how Voortman can perfect your beam coping capabilities.

We have successfully installed over a thousand CNC beam and angle lines all around the globe. Our experience has shown that an average operator who has never programmed before can get the machine up and running in less time than one and a half days.

We prefer that the machine be installed indoors but we have many Voortman beam-coper installations outside. Weather protection must be provided for the control panel as well as the machine. We are happy to show you photos from any of our outdoor installations.

Voortman offers regular training classes on all Voortman or Ocean equipment at their Bradley Illinois location. These courses can be used to refresh existing operators or for those who are just starting out. This facility will ensure that your employees return to work motivated, highly trained and eager to improve their productivity. Call for pricing and details.

What are the 4 types of coping mechanisms

A 5-axis single torch CNC beam-coping machine is a machine that uses only one torch for all coping. One torch can be used to cope a beam. The torch will cut the web, then move on the flanges. It moves from one end of the web to the other in a sequential fashion. The 5-axis torch can move in an almost unlimited number of directions and places, making it possible for even the most difficult of jobs. The 5-axis torch allows for double miter/bevel cut on both flanges and web, something that multi-torch units are unable to do.

Voortman beam-coping machine comes equipped with long, durable, rigid torch tips that can be used to precisely position the machine within flanges. Additionally, the closed loop system allows for the torchhead's disengagement in the unlikely event that it comes into contact with an obstruction such as slag.

We have installed over 1000 CNC beam lines, angle lines, and other lines all over the world. It has been our experience that the average operator can program a machine in under half an hour.

Voortman CNC Beam coping machine's cutting head uses an easy and affordable oxy-fuel cylinder head. This cuts with oxygen and any other fuel, including propane, natural gas, acetylene and propylene. These gases can be purchased at a very low cost from your supplier and are available for free. Welders with experience in torch cutting will also be able to adjust the flow rates of Oxy-Fuel exactly as they do now.

What is the difference between I-beam and H beam

Voortman uses the Voortman's torch nozzle. The nozzle is specially engineered to last 3 - 6 month depending on how hot your machine runs. The torch nozzle is difficult to bend due to the head breakaway that deflects it. The heat of the gases through the nozzle eventually causes nozzles to become worn. Replacement torch tips are available for $75 per tip.

Our top-of-the-range coping/profiler robot makes 3D coping and profiling much easier. These Robotic Coping beams and Profiling beams not only work well, but they can also be used to cut slots, chamlers, and saddles.

Voortman CNC Beam Coping Machines should only be operated by someone who is proficient with using oxy-fuel. Although it is possible to train virtually any operator on the software part of the machine quickly, cutting with gas requires years of experience and skill.

The ABCM-1250 CNC beam coping machines have a triple torch design that allows you to simultaneously cut two flanges. Flange thins can simultaneously be performed on top and bottom of flanges. However, weld preparation is done concurrently which reduces operating costs. The ABCM-1250 Ox-fuel Coper is a quick and easy way to cut near the flanges without having to torch probe.
