Fashionista, by Konami
by Jin Lovelace, HSM filmmaker
After my strenuous workload on Espada Gothica 2, it’s finally good to actually get back into my brand: creating designer outfits.
I’ve recently spoke to some of my friends on how I desire to see some fashions inspired by real-world designs from Konami. Their reknown for the remarkable Gothic line, along with their custom-animated costumes, truly begs for some creative twists here.
Lo and behold, they released a new line of clothing under the Fashionista banner. At a glance, these styles are right up the alley of anyone looking to appear sensational, upbeat, classy, and elegant. If the designs just don’t entice the eyes, the price range for these are absolutely affordable. I can imagine now: Kassadee just jumping for joy on how the price tags gave her the glaring eyes, particularly after reading this article she recently wrote (which is a very good article, by the way).
For their take on some real-world inspirations I’m truly impressed on how their styles accommodate with many items already in Home, with versatility ranging from spring tops and dresses to elegant evening gowns that really beckon for social gatherings. The styles, to me, are wonderful and aren’t over the top.
I’m with Kassadee when it comes to what Konami has up their sleeves with this line; I can’t wait to see what’s in store. Though this release focused more on the female fashions, I’m curious as to what the male line will get.
This video presentation features some designer outfits created by me, along with some usage of accessories for the dresses. Though I have more photos of the items in the store, you have to read my article if you wish to view them. I will also provide some tips and my thoughts on the line along with my expectations.
Many thanks to PureHeart55 (who embedded in me a unique style that I would normally go against, but sometimes it’s good to think outside the box these days) and also to Ms. RiffRaff-Se7en for modeling some of the designs for me.
