Powering the Clean Power VFD : Safety messages

When the Clean Power VFD is powered-on, if there is an active command on the control inputs, the Clean Power VFD will run immediately.
When using the 2-wires control method, ensure that the inputs are turned-off prior to powering-up the Clean Power VFD.
Risk of serious injury.

Resolve all faults before powering-on the Clean Power VFD.
If a fault is still present when the Clean Power VFD is powered on, it will not exit the lockout state.
To remove the lockout state, follow the instruction from system reset chaper of this document.
When the Clean Power VFD is powered on, a large inrush current flows for charging the DC bus capacitor.
A current limiting resistor in the device limits the peak value of the inrush current. Once the DC bus is fully charged, an internal relay removes the resistor from the circuit.
Do not switch the Clean Power VFD on and off too frequently (>5 times per day) with a magnetic contactor. The repeated exposure to peak inrush current will shorten the lifetime of the rectifier and inrush limiting circuits.
Verify that
-the input voltage is identical to the rated voltage of product;
-the correct wiring of input terminals R, S, T;
-the correct wiring of output terminals U,V, W.
Risk of Clean Power VFD damage.
Tip
A fault trip may be triggered if the Clean Power VFD starts operation while a motor's load (fan-type load) is in a free-run state.
