Operating the Clean Power VFD : Safety messages

Do not open the Clean Power VFD when powered.

The STOP function does not remove dangerous voltages from the Clean Power VFD or the motor.

The Safe Torque Off function does not remove dangerous voltages from the Clean Power VFD or the motor.

The Clean Power VFD becomes hot during operation.

Avoid touching the Clean Power VFD until it has cooled .

Ensure that the Clean Power VFD is free from foreign objects during installation and operation.

Do not control start/stop of the Clean Power VFD by switching a contactor ON and OFF.

If the motor rating does not match that of the Clean Power VFD, especially when the rated power of the Clean Power VFD is higher than that of the motor, adjust motor protection parameters in the Clean Power VFD or install a thermal relay to protect the motor.

Risk of damage to motor and/or Clean Power VFD.

If SDB 1 2 185 is required to operate above motor nominal frequency (50.00Hz or 60Hz depending on your location), please take the endurance of mechanical devices into consideration.

Before running the motor at maximum speed, confirm the motor's rated capacity.

A Clean Power VFD can be used to increase the speed of a motor. Ensure that the speed of the motor does not exceed its maximum rating.
