                                                               PROJECT WRAPS UP

After almost two years of construction and some unexpected
delays, the widening of 10th Avenue in the city of Cornelius
                                                  is nearing completion.

A lot of people were pleased to see the traffic cones and con-

streets, disappear. Among them is Andy Morris, Project Manager.
The widening of 10th Avenue was Morris’ first project since he
became a project manager in LUT’s Engineering and Construction
                                                  Services Division in October 2017.

“There were a lot of moving parts associated with this project,” said
Morris. “We implemented multiple road closures so the contractor,
utility companies and railroad could work on different parts of the
project at once. This helped speed up construction.”
