So why do I need a hair dryer that costs so much? The Dyson Supersonic works wonders for my hair type. It creates big volume, and I mean BIG! The round brush included with the dryer is great for creating curtain bangs. I also use one of the concentratornozzles to style my bangs. My hair looks great when I don't use any attachments.
I used the Dyson Supersonic for Amanda's curly 3B and 2C hairs. We used the diffuser only on her hair. However I used all attachments for my own hair, except for wide-tooth as it's not made for me. I didn't remember to take photos until after I had used the concentrator and diffuser attachments. Please pardon me. My hair felt and looked great after I used both attachments.

    Dyson claims they have tried various hair types and developed attachments to suit different styles.
    Dyson has created a dryer that is light and balanced.
    Protect shine by preventing extreme heat damage: Intelligent heat control monitors the air temperature more than 40 times per second to prevent heat damage.
    It comes with three attachments, including a diffuser as well as two nozzles. The one for smoothing and the other to concentrate air flow. They are perfect for blowouts and styling bangs. Three additional Dyson attachments were also introduced since the Supersonic release: the Flyaway Attachment to smoothen down flyaways, the Wide Tooth Comb Attachment to stretch curly or coily hair, and the Gentle Air Attachment to control heat and diffuse it to protect delicate hair types.

    These are all essentially fake numbers. Dyson vacuums can be expensive, but their hair tools have proved to be worthwhile. I was skeptical about the claim of 132% shine enhancement by the Supersonic, as that seems subjective. However, I was intrigued by the claims of less frizz and protection from heat loss.
    This product is designed to distribute air evenly around curls. You can style your hair more easily with longer prongs.
    About 1.2 pounds. Dyson claims the hair dryer weighs about the same as other hair dryers, but it is much lighter. It isn't heavy in the front, and it doesn't pressure my wrist. All weight is on top.

    My only regret is not buying it sooner. While it is an investment, the Dyson has made my hair life so much easier. The Dyson takes 30 minutes instead of the hour drying with other dryers. The Dyson is worth every minute because of its time-saving features. Avoiding heat damage is a key part of my journey to healthy locks. I feel confident that the Dyson will protect my hair from damage and dry it in a flash. I no longer feel the need to sacrifice hair health just so that my hair doesn't get wet all day. That is a great thing for me.
