Fast is what I mean when I say it. My hair is thick and curly, measuring 28 inches in length. It's quite a lot of hair. Diffusing my hair took me five minutes. This is a great trick for when it's colder outside and my hair doesn't need to air dry for more than half of the day. It took me 20 minutes to do a blowout. I'm not an expert. If I was a better blowout artist, it would have been much faster.

    I was pleasantly surprised at how much volume this hair dryer added to my hair. My hair is fine and straight. The Dyson Supersonic has been a great choice for me because it gives my hair a lot of volume. I use the round hairbrush that comes with my dryer (which is ideal for curtain bangs I must add) and one the concentratornozzles to style the bangs and add volume to the roots. My hair never looks like it has ever been on a set.
    For example, to use the diffuser tool, you must pool your hair in it and then press it on to your scalp to dry. Dyson has produced a series of videos on how to use the Hair Dryer, just in case you are confused (like I was).
    You don't need to worry about your hand getting too hot while you hold the tool.
    Although other hair dryers are capable of drying my hair fast, the Dyson is a class apart. My first time using it, I measured my drying time with my phone. The result? 1:40:11. My whole head was dried in less than 2 minutes. Although my hair is very fine, it takes me longer to make a cup if instant coffee. The Dyson made it worth the money. I'm often late but don't mind if I have enough to wash my hair right now. I always have at least two minutes.

    The Dyson hair dryer acts like a standard hair dryer. The Dyson Air Wrap, however, is dryer AND styling tool.
    My only regret is not buying it sooner. While it is an investment, the Dyson has made my hair life so much easier. The Dyson takes 30 minutes instead of the hour drying with other dryers. The Dyson is worth every minute because of its time-saving features. Avoiding heat damage is a key part of my journey to healthy locks.
